Not really, while there's plenty of shoddy writing, this ain't it. One is him simply manipulating you, trying to make himself seem more relatable, and while he doesn't truly see himself as a god once you trick him into being locked in the Fade forever he lets anger get the better of him. He has a saviour complex, he believes hes the only one powerful enough to save the world and his people, and when you prevent him from doing that and trick him, hes trying to put you down while delusionally gassing himself up. The other just holds true, magic matters only in how it is used, using your own blood or the blood of a willing participant, as Dorian once put it, whats the harm? But hes using blood magic to invade your mind, unconsentually, just so he can escape a prison, its the same thing the Evanuris do and he abhors the idea of being the same as them, both out of pride and generally not being as massive of an asshole as them. The third is simple, he obviously wasn't going to reveal he knew that the old gods were just the evanuris' personal cheat codes, so he used the term you knew, and grey wardens being stupid enough to let Lucascan and Razikale loose would've undoubtedly fucked over everyone, hence his panic.

Almost like Corypheus tying his life to a dragon was meant to clue us in that the Old God dragons that become Archdemons worshipped by the ancient Tevinter were tied to the Evanuris who were whispering to them across the Veil to get them to breach their Fade prison. It's great to see another update from FDEJenassa, but what surprised me most recently was the update from FDELydia. Because in this update, Lydia has a part of her voice that is fighting with Jenassa, which is very interesting. So why not expand some of the bickering content between her and Lydia in the FDEJenassa update?

This is really impressive and well-done. I'm not sure all this dialogue matches with the lore or Jenassa's established character, but Bethesda is pretty sloppy with their lore, and this is an impressive undertaking for a modder. This sort of mod is something I've been looking for for a while, so I'll definitely check this out! Thanks for making this!

Just bought and installed this mod mid-playthrough. Kind of curious as to how her approval system works. Do I just bring her along on my adventures? Or do I have to do certain quests and/or select certain dialogue options?

They actually paid their writers quite well, thry even outsourced writings to certain consultancy firms that were specifically designed to oversee the handling of these sorts of topics writing-wise and 'improve' it, for an extortionate amount of money, and we still ended up with this The problem isn't that what they chose to pay the writers to write for this game, its the writers they chose to pay to write for this game. These writers are just ass.

I've always disliked Taash because she is basically a parody of the modern gender culture. Her entire personality boils down to her LGBTQ status and the fact she's Qunari. There's nothing else there, so it makes her hard to relate to if you aren't the same cardboard cut out she is. When you contrast her with Iron Bull or Dorian, there is just so much more there beyond their LGBTQ status.

It's less about pay and more about competency (or lack thereof).

what is noticeable the most is Bioware's lack of trying it is cool and dandy that there are all sorts of different people in Thedas, sure, but let's break it down "gay" comes from, well, "gay", a word that meant "happy and outgoing", iirc "lesbian" comes from the Lesbos Island, birthplace of Sappho, greek poet who dedicated her poems to other women. term "sapphic" comes from her name you CANNOT in good consciousness use the word "lesbian" in your fantasy story because Greece does not exist in there. come up with another name. create an explanation why this name exists. maybe, there was someone else with the similar sounding name? the word "binary" is strongly associated with math, correct? correct. 99% OF THEDAS IS LITERALLY FUCKING IDAHO. ALL THEY DO IS PLANT POTATOS AND KILL PEOPLE. there has to be a smarter way, more engaging way to show that your character is nonbinary. fuck it, don't show, tell. but tell it in authentic and immersive way. come up with a new term, juggle the words, do SOMETHING. Krem from DAI is a trans man, yet we were told about it differently because this term DOES NOT EXIST THERE. AND IT'S FINE. IT'S FANTASY, I CAN BELIEVE THAT NONBINARY PEOPLE EXIST ALONGSIDE DRAGONS but I just can't believe how sloppy and lazy my favorite franchise has become
